SQIBB a take on the invisible black background

In my professional photography class, we got to experiment with SQIBB which stands for Studio Quality Invisible Black Background this was a very interesting and exciting lesson as we learned how to take amazing portrait and product shots that require little to no set up and you only need one flash and snoot.

As you can see, you can get amazing results, but just using one flash for the headdress photo I used a large snoot and held it up the right side of the subject and by doing so you can highlight only the subject and make the background invisible.
